Enrestec’s PB-610 Eco-Friendly Carbon Black Wins the 32nd MOEA Innovation Research Award

Enrestec’s high-value eco-friendly carbon black PB-610 has received the 32nd Innovation Research Award from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). With more than 20 years of experience in tire pyrolysis, Enrestec is one of the few companies worldwide to operate tire pyrolysis on a commercial scale, with a planned processing capacity of 36,000 tonnes of end-of-life tires per year.
PB-610 offers high purity, excellent dispersion and strong reinforcement, with a carbon footprint well below that of conventional carbon black. It complies with EU PAH regulations and is Cradle to Cradle Certified, making it suitable for printing inks, functional coatings and fibers.
Chairman Michael Yuan said the award recognizes the team’s long-term commitment to process safety, material upgrading and circular technology innovation. Enrestec currently exports products to Japan and Thailand, supplies equipment to the Japanese market, and plans a partnership in Saudi Arabia to expand into the Middle East.
