On Enrestec's patent certificates, one name keeps appearing as inventor: our President, Morgan Wu.
In 2008 he and his team earned their first patent for continuous steam pyrolysis, and nearly twenty years on they are still inventing. Along the way he took Enrestec from its first pyrolysis plant to the round-the-clock Pingnan plant, and then sold complete systems to Thailand and Japan.
But the magic doesn't stop at the reactor. Carbon black fresh from pyrolysis was only good as a rubber filler, so the team refined, milled and classified it step by step: first into tire plants, then into inks and coatings. In 2025, PB-610 won the MOEA SME Innovation Research Award.
Equipment R&D keeps the tires turning; product R&D makes what comes out worth more. These are Enrestec's two lines of R&D.
