For Suppliers
All of Enrestec's raw materials are recycled — mainly end-of-life tires and waste rubber. We aim for a stable, traceable and compliant supply chain, and welcome tire collectors and other suppliers as long-term partners.
How we source waste tires
- Local collectors: collectors pre-sort the tires, and a transport network brings them to our plant to keep feed stable.
- Local governments: we work with municipal tire collection points and have agreements with the environmental protection bureaus of Chiayi, Kaohsiung and Taitung, with more to follow.
- Traceability: feedstock must meet the sourcing requirements for ISCC PLUS certified products. Under the Basel Convention, waste does not cross borders, so all feedstock comes from Taiwan.
- Volume: about 16,247 tonnes of waste tires processed in 2025, with a target to raise annual throughput from about 16,000 to 25,000 tonnes and to take in other waste rubber.
Supplier code of conduct
New suppliers sign our Supplier Social Responsibility Commitment and Integrity Declaration before they are added to the approved supplier list. Key requirements:
- Environment: comply with waste, air and water regulations, save energy and cut carbon, and buy locally where possible.
- Human rights and labour: no child labour, respect for freedom of association, fair pay and lawful working conditions, and no discrimination, harassment or forced labour.
- Integrity: ethical business, anti-money-laundering and fair competition, and no bribes or improper benefits.
Assessment and audits
Under our supplier qualification procedure, new suppliers complete an assessment form and a supplier survey, with preference for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certified companies. Major suppliers by spend are audited on site for environmental, labour, health and safety, and integrity performance. Seven suppliers were audited in 2025, scoring 82–89.
Local purchasing
In 2025 about 95% of our purchasing (around NT$186 million) went to 231 suppliers in Taiwan.
